Divorce
Most people are aware of what an Uncontested Divorce is, which is when one party files, the other party is served and signs off on what has been agreed to, with no conflict involved. Matters such as child support and parenting, spousal support and division of joint assets has already been agreed upon.
The Joint Divorce is similar to the uncontested divorce, but no parties are “served”. In a Joint Divorce there is not a party who “files for divorce” against the other, both parties sign the documents and they are submitted to the court.
